Vehicle Integration Engineer

BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.

The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.

As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.

Your main responsibility is:

• 1.Take responsibility for defining ENCAP active safety test Plans and strategies；
• 2.Following up on the pre-test and formal test of ENCAP active safety for a BYD vehicle；
• 3.Calibrate/maintain the vehicle and support test engineers during test execution;
• 4.Propose solutions and report/solve problems during the test execution;
• 5.Analyze the failure testing scenarios and do the continued research
• 6.Research on Europe’s new automotive technologies;
• 7.Research on European special regulations or requirements;

Your personal information:

• 1.Bachelor degree or above. Major in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Assisted and/or Automated Driving relative.
• 2.You have broad experience of Assisted and/or Automated Driving Systems;
• 3.You have good knowledge of ENCAP state-of-the-art test methods and techniques;
• 4.You can work yourself and solve the problems yourself abroad;
• 5.You have broad experience using VDS or CANoe;
• 6.You have the ability to summarize the problems and explain them to other engineers;
• 7.You have the ability to write a report to explain the reasons for failure and explore how to improve the state；
