Director Construction Management (m/f/d)
- Accountable for overall Project performance, including but not limited to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), Financial, Schedule and Quality performance and construction for large EPC projects in the electronic and battery industry
- Representative of the corporate management to the project
- Highest escalation level within the project to client, contractor and the project team before the corporate management
- Develop and keep good communication and relationship with the Client
- Accountable for the project performance on EHS, schedule, cost and quality, as well as the project manager's performance
- Report the project status to the company management as per corporate procedures
- Stay on the project site and participate in the client management reporting meeting
- Monitor and participate in the project risk identification and mitigation plan development process
- Ensure corporate procedures, standards and guidelines are followed within the project disciplines (Project Management, Project Engineering & Design Manager, Project Commercial Manager, Project Site Manager / Construction Management)
- Define project strategies to achieve the project goals externally and internally
- Be a visible, positive and encouraging example influence for the the project team members, both internally and externally. Provide guidance and motivation to the team
- Master Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Many years experience in related industries (Semiconductors, Bateries or Electonics), > extensive experience in EPC project management experience
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills in German and in English
- Detailed knowledge project execution and coordination
- Good communication and motivation skills
- Broad technical understanding of CSA (Civil Structural Architecture) and MEP systems
- PMI certification advantage
