SAP CPQ Consultant / Developer (Automotive Industry)

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP CPQ Consultant to implement and support SAP CPQ solutions for automotive sales and order management processes. The role involves configuring complex vehicle products, pricing models, dealer-specific workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems to support an efficient quote-to-order process.
This is a Hybrid working role

Applicants muts be EU or UK passport holders (or hold a valid work permit ) and be flexibe on travel to germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain vehicle configuration models including:
  • Vehicle platforms
  • Engine variants
  • Trim levels
  • Packages and options
  • Accessories
  • Regional compliance requirements
• Define compatibility and constraint rules between vehicle components.
• Manage product catalog updates for new model years and product launches.

Pricing & Commercial Processes

• Configure vehicle pricing structures including:
  • Base vehicle pricing
  • Option pricing
  • Dealer discounts
  • Fleet pricing
  • Promotional campaigns
  • Regional pricing variations
• Implement approval workflows for special discounts and exception pricing.
• Support financing, leasing, and subscription-based vehicle offerings where applicable.

SAP CPQ Development

• Develop custom logic using IronPython and JavaScript.
• Build advanced configuration rules and dynamic pricing calculations.
• Customize quote templates, proposal documents, and customer-facing outputs.
• Configure approval processes and workflow automation.

Integration Responsibilities

• Integrate SAP CPQ with:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP Sales Cloud
  • Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
  • Manufacturing execution and order management systems
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Support end-to-end Quote-to-Cash and Configure-to-Order processes.

Testing & Support

• Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support.
• Participate in deployment planning and release management.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation.
