S -Payment is part of the DSV Group and sets the pace for all payment-related matters within the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe (Savings Banks Finance Group). We identify trends, provide new impetus, and drive the Sparkassen forward with innovative payment solutions – thereby directly impacting over 45 million end customers. We develop and market payment solutions for both point-of-sale (POS) and e-commerce/m-commerce. This includes contactless payments with cards and smartphones (the "Mobile Payment" app for Android and Apple Pay with Sparkasse), and much, much more.

This is what you can expect

• Identification and evaluation of AI use cases in the payment environment of S-Payment

• Translating AI potential into concrete product ideas and improvements to existing solutions

• Managing projects for the introduction of AI functions in products and internal processes – from idea to rollout

• Close collaboration with product management, specialist departments, IT, data & analytics and external partners.

• Development and refinement of a structured target vision for the use of AI in S-Payment

• Monitoring of AI and payment trends and derivation of recommendations for management.

This is what you bring with you

Must-have

• Several years of professional experience in product management or in the management of digital/IT projects

• Solid knowledge of AI / Machine Learning (how it works, typical application scenarios, opportunities & risks)

• Proven experience in implementing AI-related projects (e.g., automation, data analysis, chatbots, personalization)

• Excellent understanding of business processes and economic contexts

• Sovereign stakeholder management and experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

• Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style as well as strong communication and presentation skills

Nice-to-have

• Experience in the banking/savings bank environment or in card-based payment transactions

• Practical knowledge of cloud and AI platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud

• Experience in AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI guidelines

• Basic knowledge of data analytics, data pipelines and model development

• Experience as a Product Owner or in agile product teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
