Discover your exciting roleWe are seeking a Lead Designer VDC (m/f/d) to join our Space / Design Management team in Stuttgart. This role is integrated within the design and construction phases of our complex facilities, particularly within the life sciences and advanced technology sectors. The position contributes to enhancing collaboration and design quality through the application of BIM tools and digital workflows, with a strong focus on the development, structuring, and management of 3D models and coordination data in alignment with Space Management requirements.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesSupport the application of Building Information Modelling (BIM) within Space Management for multidisciplinary projects.Prepare and develop 2D layouts, sections, details, and 3D Revit models for Space Management.Develop and maintain CSA-related model content, including plinths, sumps, penetrations, and steelwork concepts.Perform clash detection, prepare structured clash reports, and track coordination issues through to resolution.Collaborate closely with 3D designers to ensure consistent implementation of the Space Management design intent.Ensure all models and deliverables comply with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project BIM standards.Manage the Navisworks Federated Model, including clash detection, search sets, and viewpoint management.Lead coordination and model review meetings and act as the main contact for CAD and BIM-related topics within Space Management.Perform quality assurance on models and drawings while maintaining consistent model organization and data integrity across all disciplines.Show your expertiseBachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Strong experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks ManageAbility to work effectively within multi-disciplinary design environmentsGood communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholdersStrong model handling, data manipulation, and coordination capabilitiesProficiency in English and GermanExperience working with BIM workflows and BIM Execution PlansInterest in digital tools, automation, and innovation in design processesStructured, reliable, and solution-oriented way of workingWhat we offer youYour start at Exyte: Take part in a two-day onboarding event with new colleaguesAttractive location: Our location in Stuttgart features spacious workstations with height-adjustable desksBuddy-System: Several weeks of close familiarisation with your colleagues in the teamWork-life balance: There is always the possibility of switching to mobile workingCatering: Free coffee specialities as well as water dispensers are accessible on every floorKeep fit: Exyte subsidises your fitness contract through Egym Wellpass at over 5,000 locations in GermanyContactYou want to be part of the Exyte team?
