The Sr. Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) operations. The PM applies industry-recognized project management methodologies, including Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Project Management Professional (PMP) standards, and/or Agile frameworks, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with mission priorities.

The PM provides full life-cycle project management support, ensuring integration of people, processes, and technology to enhance organizational performance and enable decision superiority across the SOF enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Lifecycle Management

• Manage the full lifecycle of organizational projects from initiation through closeout.
• Oversee project demand intake, work prioritization, and resource scheduling.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure alignment of projects with SOF EKM strategic objectives and mission requirements.
• Manage solution development and product delivery to meet operational needs.

Governance and Controls

• Develop and implement project management controls to ensure successful execution.
• Conduct recurring project meetings, stakeholder reviews, and status briefings.
• Create and maintain project charters, schedules, task lists, risk registers, and communication plans.
• Track and manage scope, schedule, cost, and performance metrics.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Conduct post-project reviews and retrospectives to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Process Standardization and Knowledge Management

• Develop and maintain a repository of standardized project templates and artifacts.
• Promote continuity, reusability, and reproducibility of Government business processes.
• Ensure project documentation complies with DoD, USSOCOM, and contractual requirements.
• Support audits, system registration, certification, and accreditation documentation as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Agile certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master).
• Project management experience supporting DoD or Federal programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK principles and/or Agile methodologies.
• Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, ServiceNow, or similar).
• Active DoD TS/SCI
