JHC Consulting is a private advisory practice. We provide counsel to chief executives, chairs, and board committees on consequential decisions involving governance, strategy, and structural change. - Reviewing and comparing multiple written responses to research queries for accuracy and clarity.
- Checking internal data points against primary sources to verify factual correctness.
- Drafting concise notes that explain why one version of a text is logically superior to another.
- Identifying subtle inconsistencies in tone or reasoning across diverse document sets.
- Cross-referencing technical terminology to ensure consistency throughout a memorandum.
- Assisting senior advisors by proofreading and fact-checking complex advisory records.
- Organizing research findings into structured folders for easy retrieval during the drafting process.
- A high level of reading comprehension and the ability to spot errors in data or logic.
- The ability to write in a way that is clear, direct, and free of corporate jargon.
- An exceptional eye for detail, particularly when reviewing citations and footnotes.
- A disciplined temperament that allows for sustained focus on analytical tasks.
- The ability to follow specific instructions and criteria without constant supervision.
- Familiarity with digital research tools and the ability to navigate complex information sets.
- A commitment to maintaining complete confidentiality regarding client matters.
- Academic studies in fields that emphasize rigorous writing and logic, such as law, history, or philosophy.
- Previous experience in roles involving fact-checking, copy editing, or technical documentation.
- A demonstrated interest in the mechanics of logical argumentation and clear communication.
- This is a fully remote role that allows you to manage your own workspace.
